Welcome to Hamida House, a one-bedroom therapeutic bungalow based in Stoke-on-Trent, providing solo placements for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), learning disabilities (LD), and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
At Hamida House, we are committed to delivering a safe, calm and nurturing environment where young people feel valued, understood and supported. We recognise that many young people may have experienced trauma, instability and adverse life experiences, and our approach is centred around trauma-informed and therapeutic care.
Our solo placement model allows us to provide highly individualised support tailored to each young person’s specific needs, strengths and goals. We focus on building trusting relationships, promoting emotional regulation, encouraging independence and helping young people develop the skills needed for everyday life.
The bungalow offers a structured yet homely setting with clear boundaries, consistency and positive routines, enabling young people to feel secure and supported while working towards positive outcomes in education, personal development and future independence.
Our experienced and dedicated staff team works closely with professionals, families and external agencies to ensure each young person receives the highest standard of care and support through personalised care planning and therapeutic interventions.
